The NCSEF is an entirely volunteer run organization. There many opportunities before during and after the fair that across a wide variety of skillsets and backgrounds.
Registration is open for judges and volunteers for the 2025 North Carolina Science and Engineering Fair for virtual judging on Tuesday March 25, 2025 via Zoom and for in-person setup, judging, and all the other volunteer roles that make this event possible on Saturday March 29, 2025 on the campus of North Carolina State University. Volunteer opportunities are also available Friday evening, March 28, 2025 to assist with student check-in and project setup.
Judges
Volunteers are needed to judge projects virtually (via Zoom) on Tuesday March 25 and in-person on Saturday March 29. Please click the link below to register as a judge where you can indicate your availability, areas of interest, etc. allowing organizers to maximize your impact on these student researchers.
