North Carolina Science and Engineering Fair
March 24-25, 2023NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina
Welcome to the 2023 North Carolina Hybrid Science and Engineering Fair! We are all excited to be providing both a virtual and an in-person experience for our student researchers to compete this year! After three years, we will once again be on the NC State University campus for our in-person event. Special thanks to NC State University’s Division of Academic and Student Affairs and the Office of Undergraduate Research for their support. Below please see the "Important Links" to details you will need before arriving at NC State.
Students in grades 3 -12 from across North Carolina who have advanced from one of our ten Regional Fairs, will now compete for state honors. Independent student-led research expands their knowledge of a subject and exposes them to the excitement found in discovery and problem solving found in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics fields. Sharing their discoveries promotes the development of communication skills and allows our students to become experts in their area of research. Our goals are to stimulate innovation and creativity in exploring STEM disciplines that will help to encourage the future problem solvers of our nation.
